While both of us did our fair share of traveling before getting married, Alli was more of the cruiser. When we first tied the knot, Alli had been on eight cruises in comparison to Bobby's one. Since then, we have had the chance to set sail on four epic cruises. We are obsessed with how much fun we can have aboard a cruise. This page is dedicated to showing off our favorite cruise adventures, foodie goodies, secret must-do's, and the transformation of Bobby from cruise-rookie to cruise lover. Here you can find anything related to our cruising experience, including blogs, tips, and future adventures!

Tips for Planning your Cruise

  • Familiarize yourself with the destinations

    • What kind of a trip are you looking for? Cozying up in Alaska? Drinking hot chocolate and exploring glaciers? Catching some rays in Mexico? Wine tasting in Santa Barbara?

  • Research the ports of call

    • Many destinations have multiple route options, with varying ports of call. Researching each of these ports will help you choose which specific cruise most interests you! Surprisingly, the Western Carribean is very different from Eastern Carribean!

  • Book your excursions

    • Once you've booked your cruise, your next step is choosing your in-port excursions. The options can feel endless, so pick a night where both of you can sit down with a glass of wine and plan your excursions together. You can also book your excursion once you're on board, but we don't recommend doing that, as many will fill up!

Tips for once Aboard

  • Completely un-pack (i'll write more about each later)

  • Explore the ship

  • Try everything (specifically the rare finds on the dinner menu)

  • Make friends

  • Have the time of your life!

Tips for Packing

  • Bring a bathing suit. Or five.

  • Don't skimp on the "comfy clothes" Nothing is better then coming back to the ship after a long day at port and changing into something comfortable. And hey, some of our favorite cruising memories involve eating room service in our sweats!

  • Bring your fancy dress or suit! Every cruise has at least one formal night, where you're required to dress up for dinner.

  • Whatever you do, don't forget SUNSCREEN!
