We aren’t typically the kind of travelers that go to the same place twice. Our travel bucket-list is just too big, and our wanderlust spirits have us always on the hunt for new destinations to explore. That being said, there have been a handful of spots that we will continue coming back to, year after year, and Paradisus Los Cabos is one of those places!
Located ten minutes away from San Jose del Cabo, Paradisus Los Cabos is a little slice of paradise. This oceanfront property is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but it has everything you would want (and more!) in an all-inclusive resort. From a Michelin Star chef to swim-up pools and to-die-for margaritas, we’re pretty convinced it’s the definition of paradise. Here’s five reasons why we’ll keep coming back:
1. STAFF THAT FEELS LIKE FAMILY
The staff at Paradisus Los Cabos is amazing. Everyone. From the moment you step into the lobby they’re there to welcome you with a warm smile, cool towels, and of course, refreshing drinks. :) Everyone is anxious to serve and ensure that you feel at home. Whether we were by the pool or at dinner, our every need was met before we could even ask. It’s that kind of friendliness and attention to detail that turns a vacation from “great” to “amazing”. 2. SWIM-UP ROOMS ARE THE BEST KINDS OF ROOMS
Before staying at Paradisus Los Cabos, we had never had a “swim-up” room before. We’d seen photos in magazines and online, and while we thought they looked cool, we never really understood the hype. But friends- once you’ve stayed in a swim-up room, there’s no going back. It’s SO much fun. During our stay we develop a daily routine of swimming when we first wake up, swimming over to the restaurant to order lunch, eating our lunch in the water (because WHY NOT?!) and nightly swims after dinner. Nothing says “vacation” more than spending most of your day in (and by) the pool with a drink in hand. Just imagine if every hotel had swim-up rooms… how glorious would that be?!
3. CONSTANT ENTERTAINMENT
One thing that we love (and appreciate) about Paradisus Los Cabos is that there’s always something to do. Sunrise yoga, tequila tastings, sushi making classes, movies under the stars, live music, and even a Micheal Jackson show. That’s right. Micheal Jackson made an appearance - and it was EPIC. No matter what your “vacation style” is like, there’s something for everyone. And if you’re purely looking to relax… there’s no shame in that either!!
4. THE MOST GLORIOUS SUNRISES (AND SUNSETS!)
We still can’t get over the sunrises we see at Paradisus Los Cabos. EVERY MORNING. The sun lit up the entire sky, causing the ocean to turn the most stunning shades of pink. Now don’t get us wrong- we’re all about sleeping in when we’re on vacation, but we couldn’t bare to miss these views!
5. THE BEST FOOD AND DRINKS
We’ll share in more detail about what we ate while we were there, but we can’t miss this opportunity to say how genuinely delicious the food is. From fish tacos by the pool to hand-rolled sushi, the vast variety and level of high-quality food options is astounding. Being self-acclaimed “foodies”, we’re very critical of “resort food”. But boy, this stuff is good. We’re still dreaming about the brioche french toast we ordered at breakfast every morning!
There you have it. 5 reasons why we can’t stay away from Paradisus Los Cabos. We could go on and on, with how affordable it is, how easy it is to get to, how cool the architecture is, etc. But the moral of the story is that you should go and see for yourself. We guarantee you’ll be hooked too. ;)
